In central Gnesta, by the shore of Frösjön, lies Gnesta Strand with its large beautiful terrace which overlooks the lake. Gnesta Strand is a restaurant, bar and cafe that serves fish and game from the local lakes and hunting grounds.

Gnesta Strand also provides opportunities for conferences and banquet arrangements such as weddings (the beautiful church of Frustuna lies a few hundred yards further down the shore) or birthday parties.

A stone's throw away from Gnesta Strand, you will find our hostel Sjövillan, which also is situated by the lake. Our hostel has many charming rooms, a small family house and a relaxation area with a sauna.

Only 37 minutes by train from Stockholm Central Station.
From Skavsta Airport shuttle bus goes to Södertälje (25 min), from where you take the train (10 min).

Weekdays from 8.00 o’clock, we serve freshly made coffee and bread from our bakery that is smoking hot for the early birds.

Lunch (Mon-Fri) between 11:00 and 14:00.

Friday-Saturday from 15.00 o’clock, we have After Work with favorable prices in the bar. Take a seat by the fire with a cold beer or a glass of wine and listen to the music.

Dinner is served Friday and Saturday 17.00-21.00.

Our little market hall offers good prepared meals or delicious seafood dishes for the weekend or for a small feast, only to order and to take home after the week's toil.
